Lot of box score statistical analysis. Reading his magazine there is almost no evidence that anybody that writes for him actually watches the games. It's entirely statistical analysis which can be interesting but I Just don't find his stuff very informative.

It's interesting later, but at this point in the season statistical models don't have nearly enough to go on. It takes a while for the junk filler stats to even out, and to get enough matchups for comparisons. That's why BCS computer rankings should always be ignored until the very end of the season.
