I go to meps in the a.m. and fly to great lakes sometime tomorrow...at least bootcamp will help me past through the off season
I commend you on your decision to serve your country. I spent 8 years in the Army and National Guard. Just remember during basic training when things get hard that millions of other guys have made it through this and you can, too. Honestly, if you really apply yourself during basic, you can excel because most of the guys there won't.
" If it feels good, you ain't doing it right!"
Thank you for your service.
Thank you and good luck to you
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
Best of luck to you, man!
Good luck and have a good time.
Good luck &God bless. Thank you for your service.
David Adams. Go Jaguars, Rangers and Yankees!
Good Luck......I had one son graduate boot camp this past November and he is station in Groton CT and just completed Sub School. I have another son who heads there on April 26.....Can't tell you how proud I was seeing my son graduate.....its an awesome experience.
Enjoy getting and being in the best shape of your life. In 8 weeks I went from exhaustion after only two miles to being able to run 25 miles. Actually I could have ran endlessly if my life had depended on it. Also, the training you'll receive is age old and has been passed down through generations, since the beginning of our mighty military. Sound off like you got a pair, heck do everything like you got a pair and you'll be fine and excel like the poster said above. It seemed like some gained rank in basic for being a leader, not sure if they do that now. Enjoy!
Ps. Don't be the last one to get off that cattle cart or you'll get smoked and where there's smoke, there's fire!!! Wait, they probably don't even smoke you or cuss at you anymore. Hopefully it warm up in that region soon, going to the field is a bitch in freezing temps.
Thanks for your service to our country! Rock and Roll Tide!
Good time of year to be going to great mistakes.....I was there during the winter the year I came in the Navy. I was the sickest ive been in my whole life and was miserable. Once you get to A school everything is fine though. What is your Rate going to be?
