Kid has never said anything else from day one. It amazes me how our posters can say he is coming to Alabama and downvote and blast anyone that states different. He may well change before signing day but to keep acting like he is an Alabama lock is crazy. RTR

Guys if JW has no interest in Alabama then he is severly leading Reggie Ragland in the wrong direction...

I'm honestly way over it. If he picks bama, great. He's done a fantastic job of keeping his name in the spotlight.

Pretty sure that's incorrect. He said just days before he flipped that he was still committed to AU. This is one of the biggest reasons that the famblee went crazy.

I think a lot of people are setting themselves up for a let down on signing day(I know he's not signing on signing day, but you know what I mean).

I don't know what he's going to do but the "... unless something comes up", was a nice little disclaimer to put in there.

I'm not really splitting hairs here but how many recruits do we have currently that stated they are ... "committed to us, unless something comes up"?

Majority of recruits are "solid to __________". There's obviously smoke and if there wasn't any fire I don't think the mods on this very site would be covering it like they are. I do recall a certain mod reminding a group of posters on here that were bashing Coach Thompson to basically "Chill the f*** out" on him. Obviously they knew a little sumpn sumpn.

I put more faith in what the mods are hearing and saying than what Joe Schmo "feels". Hell, that feeling may be diarrhea.

The "unless something comes up" usually means he's waiting for somebody to promise him a starting job. That or $180,000 to his dad.

You can't just say, well look at Yeldon. Guys, these are two different people, two different schools, and two different positions. Throw in the aspect of playing baseball and maybe entering the draft, it's like apples and oranges. FSU is a more attractive baseball pick at the moment and Winston can take the reigns early in football at FSU. I don't think Winston looks at FSU and believes he can't win a championship. I'd rather compete with the Barn than FSU in recruiting. Craig is killing it ( and it kills me to say that ).

I hope Winston changes, but when you look at the whole perspective from HIS angle, he can't lose sticking with FSU. IMO he probably enters the draft, just being realistic....the door can go either way on signing day. RTR
