Atlanta Nightlife - Help

I'll be in Atlanta this weekend to let my wife shop and have fun for her b'day. She loves to dance, and I mean DJ's w/ booty dance music. Can anyone direct me to downtown/midtown area clubs that work? Not that we mind dressing up, but she doesn't wanna wear heels to dance in, so dress code is ok, but not formal please.

If you are looking for a club type atmosphere, then you should go to crescent street in midtown. There are several clubs around there to choose from. Easy club hopping.

Opera is cool. It's probably the main club in town. Cam frequents there whenever he can. Also, Sutra lounge is cool. You can do the hookah thing there also.

Opera. That club is epic. Seriously. I've been, I love it. And it's humongous -- so there's plenty of corners in that bar where you can get away from the main room.
It's also in a cool part of town.
If you want to go to an awesome bar without the dancing - check out Ormsby's. That's a really neat bar. And downstairs they have freaking skee ball, board games, etc. And a KILLER beer list.
