Big drug bust on campus

  • jcrock13 said...

Yeah I feel so sorry for people that break the law. Whether you think its stupid or not, it's still illegal. Plus that's what our growingly apathetic, lazy and take no responsibility country needs is just to let everyone be high 24-7. Productivity will sky rocket. The poor poor drug users, just the lastest "victims"

Says the person that has a picture of themselves or someone they know in their avatar knowingly breaking the law on the quad (open container). I guess what you said is true when it is not tyou who is doing the crime. SMDH.

I think this became a politics thread. I doubt any message board poster will change any other message board poster's mindset.

No, your probably right. It won't be legal until the generation that thinks weed leads to jazz music and raping women finally dies out.

So most of the country's workforce is high? You learned this from TV? Hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • You know, now that some states are seeing the light regarding marijuana decriminalization, I hoped for an nth of a microsecond that the State of Alabama, being in perpetual financial straits, would see a tremendous market opportunity; given that marijuana is already a cash crop there (albeit illicitly), why not beat the curve, put our agrarian resources and traditions to use, tax it mightily, and, I dunno, dump a bunch of the money into education?

Ohhhhh, right. Because oftentimes, the very people who foam at the mouth about "big government" are okay with spending government resources to regulate "morality." ('TIl the day I die, you will never convince me of a legitimate reason that marijuana is illegal and carcinogenic cigarettes aren't. I UNDERSTAND why this isn't the case -- history, lobbying money, etc. -- but I"ll never believe it"s anything other than rank, indefensible hypocrisy.)

WTF? Most people get high on something, prescription drugs, alcohol, or illegal drugs. No one said they were high at their jobs. Productivity is not an issue for this country. Obviously you are unaware, which is shocking.

Again. I don't watch Fox news as you keep accusing me of...and it's not a straight political thing here, my family is half and half when it comes to political affiliation. What should I be reading? Give me some suggestions. I'm trying to gain some perspective here and you'd rather insult me because we don't have the same opinion

I'm sure we'll be the one of the last states to do so well, with our propensity to raise children as bumbling idiots.

You can't smoke 24-7. Your tolerance would get too high.

Amazingly some people are responsible enough to be adults and not be intoxicated at work, regardless of party supply of choice.

Look my only point was that it's illegal...should it be, probably not. But we can't complain about people getting arrested for something illegal. As another poster pointed out in my avi I have a beer in my hand and that's a fineable offense and I'd have to accept the penalty however frivolous and silly it might be.

  • Stupid IMO, if the TPD wants to crack down on something why don't they go after the dealers selling crack, heroin, meth, and coke, that's actually detrimental to our society! Guess that would be too much work for them, so they go after harmless college students because they are an easy target, and experimenting with weed is a part of the college experience, not even as harmful as drinking. Weed is legal in Cali, and there is a drug call marinol that is made from THC, used for cancer patients, and is FDA approved, doubt they would approve something that is harmful.

Wait, so raising children to not intentionally ingest smoke into their lungs is a bad thing? Please continue...

Exactly, it's a cash crop for the Southern states, George Washington knew it.

And you know behind every great man is a great women and that women was Martha Washington. She was a hip hip lady. Everyday George would come home from work, she would have a big ole fat bowl waiting on him.
