Fellow BOL Members,
I hope everyone is doing well. I am the president of the Camp Smile a Mile Jr. Board and we are hosting a charity golf tournament out at PineTree Country Club April 8th. Last year was a great success and we are looking to expand the tournament this year. If you or the company your work for would be interested in sponsoring a team please email or PM me and I will provide you with more details regarding the tournament. $500 per team / $125 per player includes golf, lunch, beer and much more including a Webb Simpson autographed US Open flag. If you are not familiar with Camp SAM, it is a summer camp for cancer kids throughout the state. 100% of the proceeds go towards sending kids to camp each year.
I wanted to pass along all of the information regarding the upcoming Camp SAM Swinging for Smiles Golf Tournament coming up Monday April 8th 2012 at PineTree Country Club. This is the Monday of Masters week and it is a great time of the year to get out of the office and play some golf for a great cause. The tournament is several months out, but I wanted to go ahead and reach out to you and see if you or your company may be interested in sponsoring a team or a corporate sponsorship
This year we will have the option of an 8:00 am or 1:00 pm for each team. Registration will begin at 7:00 for the 8:00 tee times and 12:00 for the 1:00 tee times. Breakfast will be provided for the 8:00 times and lunch provided for the 1:00 tee times. A fee of $125 per player would include lunch, cart fees, green fees, range balls, a bag of donations from sponsors and prizes for the winning teams. Pinetree Country Club is a great golf course and we are also going to try to have some type of hole-in-one prize. There are numerous companies that support charities through golf tournaments each year and with the Camp SAM golf tournament you can play a great course and the money raised goes for a great cause.
As far as the other areas that we will try to raise money, there will be corporate sponsorships for (Title, Gold, Putting Green, Driving Range, Lunch, Hole Sponsors). There are all different price ranges, but these are all beneficial for the company because of the PR / Marketing exposure and of course beneficial for the camp. Also, most of the top corporate sponsorships include a team of 4 players as well. Prizes for the top teams will be determined by how many teams we have signed up. 1st, 2nd and 3rd gross and 1st 2nd 3rd net will receive prizes.
