I know this is an extra micro-small topic for a micro- group of Bama fans...
But I love to surf and always enjoy rocking the Billabong, the Volcom etc...
One thing I have always wished was something like a surf brand / college team cap. Quiksilver makes nfl boardshorts...But nothing for college..
Anyways, was looking at Footballfanatics.com and I saw a Hurley cap with the circle 'A' logo on the side. Needless to say, I demanded my wifey to order ASAP! Haha.
Anyways, I'd love to post a pic, but I''m on an
Just a christmas gift thought for any Bama surfers out there.
Thanks for your patience! RTR!!#15

I used to surf in my teenage years, havent had the chance in a loooong time to actually go back out. Still have my 2 boards tho, and plan to teach my boys to surf once they are old enough.
But i do agree the surf companies really dont have anything college related. Never really thought about it before. lol
I saw those too, although where I live (Jax Beach,FL) wearing a pair of Bama baggies paddling out would probably come across about the same as wearing baggies & a tank to Bryant Denny....Sad fact, but half the kooks in the water here are more focused on their fashion & just being seen sitting in the lineup than being themselves & catching waves....Don't get me wrong, plenty of good rippers here, but nothing original or traditional about the people here...
All that said I take it back, since Bama is probably pretty trendy now, there's probably someone out there already claiming fan hood wearing em.
Sorry to get off on a tangent...probably made no sense at all.
Surfed in high school and when I was in Japan but that was so long ago I am afraid I would have to learn all over again. Thought about picking it back up but hard to find the time.
I grew up in Jax Beach/PV. Sunrise surf shop! Haha. Always winning the surf shop challenge. I miss JB.
Haha right! Then u remember good ole Gnarley Charlie & the gang...
The Thompson brothers have been tearing it up lately...
Definately prefer Sunrise over Aqua east
