I was saying it should be legal, and that was one of many reasons I feel that way. Many times teens go to buy weed, then get up sold on something else, usually pills. Sometimes it'll be coke or meth, depending on where you live.
I also remember it being easier to buy weed or coke in high school (Dr. Phillips High in Orlando, not a bad school) than it was to get alcohol. We had to find a crooked store in the hood to get beer, liquor was harder. We made fake ids and eventually, older siblings bought it for us.
My first pot hook up? The cashier at taco bell. I'd hold up fingers to let him know how much while I ordered food. He'd or she'd meet me in the bathroom with a taco bell cup dilled with my "order."
I loved it at the time, but it was F'd up. I was too young and wouldn't have been able to score that easily if it were regulated. I turned out OK, but it was still something I ended up exposed to at a much too young age.
Like I told fat x nub. I'm not naive. I just get tired of people complaining about people getting arrested for something, that right now, is illegal. We have all had this go round on thw roundtable several times over the years. Anytime we ed is brought up it always turns into an argument. Haha
A lot of people prefer smoking over drinking. Its also an issue that crosses party lines.
If people were being imprisoned for being obese, we'd probably argue every time obesity was brought up. Only difference is one off them can kill you and the other most certainly can not.
And it's really illegal because it was a tool to get rid of Mexicans some many years ago. Then big pharma decided to throw their weight behind it remaining illegal and you get the status quo. That is changing. It will be legal in my lifetime. I fully believe that.

God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
