Making the 1st trip up to Neyland this year to make that a** quit. Are there any good recommendations on where to stay, restaurants, etc. What's the tailgating like off the riveror outside the stadium? Actually got 2 tickets as well to the game. Heard it was a tight, and uncomfortable fit in Neyland. Thoughts?

Knoxville sucks, stadium sucks, but watching us destroy them will be fun. I hate that place. I've been to a lot of SEC stadiums/campus's and Knoxville is by far one of the worst ones.
I've heard both good and bad. Heard it's like your packed in like sardines in the stadium.
I'll be up there for the first time also this year, and it sounds like we have heard some of the same things, lol.
Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.
We stayed at the Crown Plaza two years ago. It's a shit hole but funny because the UT players stayed there and we booked it like two weeks before the game. It was kind of funny in that there was a shit load of UA fans in the eleveters with the Tenn team. Most UT fans that year that came just wanted to see Ingram and Richardson so I guess there were many last minute cancelations.

Anywhere down town will be descent, Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn @ World Fair, etc. DownTown Grill & Brewery on Gay St. is nice, good food, and good craft beer and it's very close to Crown Plaza. Neyland is tight, 90,000 seat stadium and they shove 15k more seats in there.
