Anyone at the show in Tuscaloosa please post updates.....
Neil about to take the stage. Oh, the Alabama Shakes were great.
A southern man don't need him around, anyhow.
Go to meet & dine with him several years ago when a band I worked for opened for him. Interesting dude.
I am probably in the minority here but NY is one of the most overrated musicians of our lifetime IMHO. And it has nothing to do with Southern Man. I just think he sucks
Unreal show man.........unreal
Yep, you're in the minority...Neil Young is one of the greatest musicians and might be THE BEST of all time and that's not just my opinion. You need to check yourself son before you wreck yourself.

Must have missed the IMHO
Yep, definitely in the minority.
I can handle that :)
This. The guy is one of the worst singers in the history of music. Sounds like a dying cat sqealing.
literally, the only thing neil young has ever contributed to music in his entire lifetime is the inspiration for sweet home alabama.
no one will ever convince me otherwise
He's a terrible singer and a left-wing lunatic. That's not a combination I want to support with my hard-earned money.
And I bet most of you like ted nugent, too, right?
I thought NY was dead?
Neil Young gives all of us half ass guitar players hope. LOL. He can't sing but he's still a great musician . It's the quality of the expression, not how technically correct he is that makes him excellent.

I'm not a huge fan of the Shakes. I find very little originality in their music...their lyrics are very weak and nothing they do is that awe-inspiring. While I am glad that a band from Alabama is having success, I wish the Drive-By Truckers, who in my opinion had Dylan-esque songwriting talent in their hey day when Isbell-Hood-Cooley were together, would have gotten the notoreity the Shakes are currently enjoying. They never got the credit they deserved in my opinion. Like The Band and The Black Crowes, they're a band you appreciate more once they have disbanded.
