Me and my buddies are going to head down to the beach this weekend. Were 25. Never been to either beach. Wondering what our best options would be and is Perdido Beach Resort on orange beach any count. Thanks in advance

I'm a 23 year resident of Orange Beach: I would stay in Orange Beach. Better restaurants AND nightlife. Perdido Beach resort is a good location because its close to the FloraBama (that's where all the tail is). 5 dollar per head cab ride.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
Perfidious beach resort is one of the older condos down here but it is still a pretty cool place. Lots of businesses have moved in around it. And it is about 5 min or less from florabama and live bait. Maybe 10 min max from the keg and ochoppers. Nice beach and nice pool area there
Never Gets Old
Thanks guys. Sounds like orange beach is going to be the best option
PBR has been orange beaches #1 employer for many of the years its been open. I know the owners personally and know they dump more money into keeping that. Place up to top standards. They just re-decorated all there rooms this past winter. Several quality chefs on hand 247 and top notch costumer service

I am also a resident of OB. Do this^. Florabama and occasionally Live Bait have decent nightlife.
It also sits on the best piece of real-estate in alabama
I concur. I'm a weekend resident of Orange Beach, and this sounds about right. Also, Perdido Beach Resort has a great breakfast restaurant, and a nice pool area with a quality bar. They have a guy that plays acoustic music everyday by the pool and you can get a tight buzz and walk on out to the beach to look for "talent."
I've never had a good experience eating there but to each his own. But they do have bars in the hotel which you won't find at a condo.
I appreciate the help a ton guys. I booked at perdido beach resort. Is florabama really the main place to go to for night life?
Florabama is one of the best beach bars anywhere on the Panhandle. IMO of course.
Just go... It's awesome
The $5 cab ride is $5 bucks well spent.
No not the only place is good but I love Live Bait. Always good bands and there are plenty of bachelorette parties
Live Bait is good but its second place and will always be second. Florabama is a classic roadhouse, one of the best bars in the southeast. And the poon is ridiculous...
FloraBama can be absolutely epic at times.
"Quit trying to make a play and do your job!"
I really appreciate the info guys. Looks like we'll be at florabama and live bait most of the weekend. Thanks a ton
Rumor has it that Live Bait closed last week.
I have not checked it out to say for sure.
