The international championship UA robot team was recently invited by NASA to participate in the PISCES conference in Hawaii and to demo their robot at the NASA test site on the Hawaiian mountain of Mauna Kea. The site is at approximately 9000 ft elevation and was chosen due to its similarity to the lunar surface. UA was the ONLY university in the world invited.
Since its Iron Bowl week I should add that the branch bovinians had a team in this competition and the UA team beat them in every category. RTR

I was there. 9000 ft. Temps were in the 50s. Went to the summit after the robot tests. Temp at the summit was 37. It was a cool visit for sunset.
Well to be fair if there was a goat humping championship, they'd rivals WVU as the top team
Impressive showing for the robotics team! Too bad this doesn't get more attention.
Very awesome! I love that place!
