Damn, I'm impressed that some Bama boys know about real beer.
For me it's:
Stone pale ale/sublimely self-righteous
Bells two hearted ale
French Broad's Wee Heavy
Sammy Smiths oatmeal stout
Fat tire is probably número uno, but it's probably because i can't buy it in Nola. If it weren't for stone and sierra nevada, there wouldn't be anything with a damn to drink here.
Local beer in Louisiana sucks. You can taste the swamp water.
Saw someone mention Andygator.
Damn good beer. It's my beer of choice when I'm looking to get s**t housed.
Tough to beat either an ice cold Newcastle or Sam Adams Oktoberfest on draft...

Hopsecutioner at the moment.
PBR... cheap but good...
and Newcastle... its actually a little better at room temp...
" COLD " beer !!!
I'm In a Blue Moon phase. I typically like Ale's and Lagers.
Terrapin is a great brew company. My favorites are Big Hoppy Monster, Hopsecutioner, Wake N Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout and their Fall Harvest beer, Pumpkinfest is my second favorite harvest beer behind Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.
I've really been into finding great beers in cans lately. Work better on the boat and other places glass bottles won't do. Dale's Pale Ale is a good one, also Osaka's The Gubna is good.
Budweiser is still and always will be my "favorite" though.
Blue Moon Summer Ale and Fat Tire.
The beer that has been in a cooler all day and is at the bottom if an icy slush. That's my favorite beer.
Favorite tasting beer would be Amstel.
"BINGO! That was a goody!" - Coach Bryant on Sunday afternoons with Coca Cola & Golden Flakes
It is what it is. Dos Equis.
If anyone lives in Mobile, whatever happened to Hurricane Brewing Co.? That place had some great IPA's.
Umm are you all hippies? Heady beer is great and all but if I'm pounding brews old school style I'm rock'n a 12 pack of natural light- bottles.

Sorry, I thought you said beer?
Almost an impossible question to answer with all the microbrewers out there now. Living in Middle Tennessee, I like to drink Yazoo Pale Ale and Blackstone Porter because they are brewed in Nashville. All of the "left hand" products, especially their Milk Stoudt, is really good. I like Magic Hat's not quite pale ale. Of course you cannot go wrong with a New Castle, Guiness, or Bass, especially on draft.
So many good beers and so little time....... especially with me drinking red wine more often than beer.
Good people double IPA
Good people pale ale
Anything by Avondale
A room temp Guinness drought...
Too inconsistant... They never hardly had all the beer's they brewed at the same time... My sister worked there for a little while... Before I moved to Mobile, I would stop by there when i would visit... I think when the opened Hopjacks accross the street that took away alot of business...
Does anyone know if I can find any beer or liqour for purchase online that has some kind of Alabama reference on the label or in the name? I live in Washington and would love to have some. I noticed the "Vanillaphant" from Avondales mentioned by BamaBowTie, Is that available for purchase through the brewery?
