Would anyone else place a manager in the parking lot at 9:40 to tell customers they were closed, when they close at 10? The line was still at about 8-10 cars, does he think the service there can't get me through the line in 20 minutes for a milkshake? What ever happened to not closing until the last customer is served? Talk about customer service...yikes.

He did you a favor. You didn't need that milkshake right before bed.
Don't go there any more. Problem solved.
Call the general manager. Get a free shake and hamburger.
Steak n shake is nothing special. They have them all through fl and since they are 24 hours down there it turns into the equivalent of a waffle house. I would avoid it if possible. You are not missing anything I promise
I asked the guy in the parking lot who the manager was and he said he was, I asked who was above him, he said he was an owner. I looked up the owners names and his was no where to be found. He replied "what do you want, a free shake" and I replied "no, you can keep it.". It's the principle of the situation, I hate poor customer service.
Maybe they ran out of Shakes or their computers went down or maybe they just wanted to close so they could go be with their families. Why are you mad? They can close whenever they like. If you want a shake, buy a blender.
Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? You watching?. And my straw reaches acroooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake... I... drink... your... milkshake!
Auburn sucks...I know it has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand, but it's relevant.
Steak and Shake is good for what it is - grease and ice cream. Burgers are above average, fries way below average and milkshakes are divine. That said, I am not waiting an hour for it.

Shane..since you're up, drop some nuggets on us..recruiting or team
That must have been it, he took business classes at Auburn...totally makes sense
Was the manager wearing a 2xl Windsuit?
I knew those cut off sleeves looked familiar.
I do not think the milkshakes are "divine"
Most of the time, they seem pre-made. Like they have been sitting in the freezer.
I agree on the fries.
That's not exactly the way it works......smh
While I totally agree that topics like this are fun. I'm still wondering why a post I made yesterday about Vegas lines was literally immediately deleted. Did it break guidelines that I wasn't aware of?
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
