I have one question. If 100% of the "insiders" ban themselves from this sight, how many members cancel their membership or at the very least, decrease their time spent on this site?
It is only my opinion, but I think a lot would.
While I love reading updates, nuggets, articles, and love getting my 600-600 texts, I really enjoy logging on and seeing if anyone has heard anything that the general media might not be privy to yet. It may materialize or it may not. I don't run out and call 300 friends and tell them what's going to happen based on a message board insider. However, it does make me smile a little to hear of the barn burning or of a silent commit to us or just what these guys are hearing about any topic that is Bama related.
If all of that disappeared, I might not just cancel my membership, but it would definitely decrease my need to immediately log on to this site every day I come home from work. That is definitely part of the appeal of this site to me.
I take it all with a grain of salt. But I appreciate the opportunity to have it posted on here so that I have the opportunity to draw my own conclusions on any given topic.
I think we're going to lose most all of these posters eventually. Some of them have been wrong. I realize that. Some have not. I think eventually with all of the ridicule and bashing that they will all soon leave or at the very least, completely stop posting anything they hear. I know if I were them, I would.
I guess for the people who have to see it on ESPN before it's the gospel, that's fine. Just remember, ESPN misses too. If not, Rich Rod would be our coach right now.
My 2 cents.
