I've been put in charge of finding a caterer for my wedding, but I have no idea where to start. The budget is 4k for around 150 people. Any recommendations or trustworthy caterers that you have personally used? I figured this would be a good place to start.
Kathy G. You can google her. Best in town. We used her and the food was great.
Please don't post this here. Keep it to bama sports please.
That was my first thought, but the wedding planner @ the facility that we're using said that Kathy G was overrated and we could find food that was just as great, but at a much cheaper cost. She didn't give any other suggestions though.
There are prolly less expensive but I wouldn't say she is overrated. The little bit of food I got to eat (getting pulled in fifty directions you don't get to eat much) was great. She did make us a to go spread for when we left.
IZ owned by one of the Bruno daughters. Excellent very good just used her for my Son's rehearsal dinner.
A lot of it depends on what you want to serve. The two mentioned above are very good. Another you may want to talk to is O'Carr's in Homewood. Don't let the deli fool you, they can do a lot of different things.
"he didn't know much about catering services..............." And well....... Roll Tide!
Zaxby's. Their fried pickles kick ass.
