Ok at first I thought the grizzly was the obvious victor due to sheer size and the rage factor, but then I started thinking about the fact that the silverback has the ability to climb, throw, strangle, stab, etc. as well as the athleticism to be a gamechanger. Not to mention the brains behind the beast. I would wager $1000 and a one month hiatus from the Cooler on the silverback. Or maybe just the one month hiatus.

Everyone on the MB thought Grizzly. I have to go with the Silverback. Low center of gravity, strength, and the fact that he has the instinct to go for the eye/genitalia (pretty hard to throw a decent strike when someone has you by the balls). And of course the random barrells they throw. I have to go with Donkey Kong.

Guys, guys, guys, you're overlooking one small thing here. Grizzlies are carnivores while gorillas are herbivores. While the gorilla may be agile and strong enough to defend itself from the grizzly temporarily, there's no way it could defend a grizzly until the grizzly is no longer hungry. The grizzly would eat that silver back in a heartbeat.
