OT: Accountants on the board

CPA - it is more valued in business. Can go back and get other certifications later on. Also, if you have extra cash, I recommend taking the Becker review course. They do a good job.

I also think there is some overlap for the CMA if you already have the CPA but not the other way around, I could be wrong about that though.

I always studied with cpareviewforfree.com. They have 500+ multiple choice questions for each section. I also googled aicpa released questions to find more questions. You can find other people's notes on the Becker material as well as flash cards online. There's free material out there. You just need to put in the time.
