Mizuno MP-53 irons (best feeling iron I've ever hit)

Cleveland wedges (get some a few years old and the price drops big time, plus they feel great from day one)

Odessey putter (I prefer the white ice, smooth, like butta)

I bought some Adams Ideas an I absolutely love them. My golf game sounds exactly like the OP's and the hybrid irons make things easier.

I have to agree with the fitting. I had bought 2 or 3 drivers (Callaway, Taylor Made, etc.) but could not find anything I liked better than the old Taylor Made R5 I was hitting. I finally went to Golf Tec and had them test me for about 2 hours. I ended up with an Adams Speedline (a driver I would have never have tried) and hit it a little further, higher and straighter.

The testing is very sophisticated now. I would try to hit some before I went in for a testing so your swing is your consistent swing.

It should be free, assuming that you intend to buy some clubs from whomever is doing the fitting.
