Who held Congress and the Senate the last four years of Bush's presidency? I'm far from a Bush fan, but he got zero support from congress. Both Bush and McCain warned about the housing bubble while Dodd and Frank laughed in their faces. Dodd especially since he got a sweet mortgage for his participation. I wonder what the real unemployment numbers are since so many have given up. Weren't we promised the unemployment rate wouldn't go over 8%. What happened there? What happened to the balanced budget? What happened to cutting the deficit in half? Gitmo?
