It is astonishing the extent you will go to in order to defend your liberal agenda. Personally, if it were me on my death bed, I'd expect my family and my significant other (whatever she is called at the time) to come to an agreement without the interefence of some government body. Likewise, if my significant other were on her deathbed, I'd coke to an agreement with her family without the interference of any government body.

My only agenda is that I just don't care enough about political activism to get out there and overhaul the system. Yes, I support gay marriage and civil rights and other progressive social issues. What's the ideal solution IMO? Get government out of it as it has no place in my personal life. But there is a system in place and, as broken as it is, I'm content with working within its guidelines to achieve my desired results. Once you and those as passionate as you change the system I'll do the same and believe me, I'm rooting for you. Call me politically lazy and call me apathetic and call me worse than a liberal if you want, I don't care. Talking politics from time to time is fun but quite frankly my career, spending time with friends and family, partaking in my hobbies, etc. matter more to me than any sort of active involvement in politics. I don't like paying taxes but I do so mostly because the hassle of not doing so, as politically grounded as it may be, just doesn't appeal to me. Guess that makes me a sheep.

The problem is that people who think this way have ceased to view humanity and instead have opted for a contrived "American" viewpoint that is contrary to humanity. "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal". That was a call for humanity, that was a call for freedom, and that was a call for war against tyranny. Where the states do not have rights are where they build up one human over another, or place one need over another's need. All men created equal is a concept many people died for, and is something lost on anyone who tries to place the rights of another on the chopping block. This is not liberal, conservative, anarchist, or facist....this is humanity.

As I've stated before and will continue to do, I don't subscribe to some idea of political duality. Almost nothing in life is black and white. Most things are extremely gray, especially politics. But you really don't care what I have to say because (a) I didn't come in and simply say I agree with you and (b) we have a different perception on how we want to operate, and I'm not referring to political ideologies. This discussion's been fun, though, and I thank you for that. But it's obviously not going anywhere other than all of you continuing to label me as unintelligent, which I'm not, but you have all the right to do so. I just get tired of any debate disintegrating into nothing more than personal attacks. That's the very type of action that makes me dislike liberals.
