What have you been up to since signing day?
“I have been getting ready for graduation and working out more. I know it’s going to be tough when I get down there, so I want to be prepared.”
What are your thought on the Alabama strength and conditioning program?
“It’s a lot to do, but I know that is what I have to do to be ready…so that’s what I have been doing.”
What is your current height and weight?
“My height is 6’3.5 and I weigh 330 pounds.”
When will you be arriving on campus?
“I am supposed to be up there on May 27th, but right now I am just trying to get my grades right so I can qualify with the NCAA.”
What is your academic situation right now?
“It isn’t that for real, just got to get my credits from my last classes and send my transcript to the NCAA.”
Do you know who your roommates will be?
“I know one will be Caleb Gulledge.”
Have you chosen a major yet?
“No sir, not yet, but probably something to do with sports.”
Have you been told what number you will be wearing while at Alabama?
“I am probably wearing 95.”
Other than football, is there anything that you are looking forward to once you get on campus?
“Just working with my teammates and getting to know them and the coaches better.”
Are there any players that you model your playing style after?
“There is a few Alabama guys that I model my playing style after: Marcel Dareus, Josh Chapman, Terrance Cody and Courtney Upshaw. I know that he (Upshaw) lined up at linebacker, but he was always going at it.”
What are you looking to accomplish in your first year at Alabama?
“I want to be a leader on the defensive line.”
How often do you speak with Coach Rumph?
“We talk about once a week. We talk about class and my grades, my conditioning and he always asks how my family is doing.”
What made you choose the University of Alabama?
“I like the coaches. At Alabama, they push the players further than they think they can go and that is what makes you better. I like how the school and the fans treat you like you’re family. I was just more comfortable there.”
What are your thoughts on Alabama’s success at the NFL Draft?
“It just lets me know that if I can go in there and do what I do, it can be me up there in four years.”
What is your favorite food?
“I’d have to say macaroni and cheese.”
What is your favorite movie?
“Remember the Titans.”
Do you have a favorite video game?

“One of those Ford dually trucks (F-350).”
